It’s Milk Day! A big shoutout to @prideofcowsindia, our milk partner across India, for the care they bring to an ingredient that is such an essential part of our café menu. Their whole milk is free from chemicals and preservatives, bottled fresh daily, and delivered in temperature-controlled vehicles. It is what helps bring balance to our espressos, gives our cappuccinos their silky microfoam, and makes countless cups taste just right. P.S. If you prefer non-dairy alternatives, check with our baristas, they’ll be happy to help. #worldmilkday #bluetokaibrews #prideofcows #wholemilk #dairyandnondairydelights #worldmilkday #bluetokaibrews #prideofcows #wholemilk #dairyandnondairydelights
Many parents and older adults grew up believing endurance is strength. That asking for help means burdening someone, and opening up means failing. So when something feels heavy, they may not always know how to express it, or even see it within themselves. Instead, it may surface in shorter conversations. In hobbies left behind. And it can be painful to witness, too – to know that someone we love may be lonely and slowly withdrawing. Conversations about mental health have grown louder, but ageing and loneliness are rarely part of them. We don’t talk enough about what retirement, an empty nest, the loss of community, routine, purpose, or companionship can do to a person. What helps may not always be a big conversation. Sometimes, it is making it easier for someone to speak before they have all the words. Calling again. Sitting a little longer. Asking how they are, and waiting for the answer. Reminding them that they do not have to carry it alone. If something feels different about someone you love, or even yourself, it is worth paying attention to. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’ve partnered with @thethoughtco, a collective of therapists working across emotional wellbeing. Resources are in our bio, and the first call is free. #mayismentalhealthawarenessmonth #unfilteredconversations #conversations #bluetokaicoffee #mayismentalhealthawarenessmonth #unfilteredconversations #conversations #bluetokaicoffee
Meet our debut release from Elkhill, a group of estates situated at the edge of Dubare Forest, near the headwaters of the Cauvery River. This anaerobic washed lot is from their first year of specialty cultivation, grown and processed by fourth-generation producer Dr. John Ramapuram. It opens with brown sugar and roasted almonds, and settles into layers of orange, brown spice, subtle nuttiness, and a lingering orange zest finish. Head to the link in our bio to order. 💙 #newcoffeelaunch #bluetokaicoffeeroasters #elkhilestates #specialtycoffee #coorgcoffee #newcoffeelaunch #bluetokaicoffeeroasters #elkhilestates #specialtycoffee #coorgcoffee
Bombay showed up thirsty. 😮💨 From first sips to repeat orders, our new summer menu in collaboration with Got Tea did exactly what it was made to do — offer some refreshing reprieve in the form of iced teas, dirty matchas, and fruit-forward coolers. 🥭🌶️🍵🍋 If you missed our afternoon of trying out the seasonal menu, you can still drop by any of our cafés or order in on Zomato and Swiggy. ✨ #summerinaglass #bluetokaixgottea #summerbevarages #bluetokaibrews #summerbrews #summerinaglass #bluetokaixgottea #summerbevarages #bluetokaibrews #summerbrews
It doesn’t happen all at once, or in ways that are easy to name while going through them. Conversations that once felt easy can feel tense. A phone call can start bringing anxiety instead of comfort. Friends, family, and parts of life that once felt grounding can seem out of reach. So much gets brushed aside in the hope that things will return to what they were. Even our sense of reality. Some relationships begin with everything that feels right. Compatibility, warmth, the feeling of finally finding something real. Which is why it can be so disorienting when that same sense of connection leaves us feeling isolated and uncertain. If this resonates, or if someone you care about seems to be shrinking themselves to keep a relationship intact – we’ve shared resources in our bio from @thethoughtco, a collective of therapists we’ve partnered with for a series this Mental Health Awareness Month. They work across relationship patterns, attachment, and wounds that don’t always have a name. First call is free. #mentalhealthawareness #bluetokainofilter #mayismentalhealthawarenessmonth #realconversations
You can be around people and still feel completely alone. Half of working young adults report feeling lonely. Most wouldn’t say it out loud. Because in a world that treats a full life as a fulfilling one, admitting something feels missing can seem ungrateful — even embarrassing. So we learn to carry it quietly. It doesn’t always look like isolation. It lives in packed schedules, in the city you always wanted to be in, in the job you worked hard for, in rooms full of people who don’t quite know you. The loneliness most of us navigate isn’t one thing. It’s not belonging somewhere after moving cities. Not having a close group of friends. Or not having even one person who really knows your inner life. Most people are missing at least one of these. Very few talk about it. What can help: naming the feeling, even just to yourself. Finding a space that feels easy to be around, it can be a café you like, or a class you’ve been meaning to join. And showing up for yourself in small ways. If this resonates, or if someone in your life seems to be pulling away — we’ve shared resources in our bio from @thethoughtco, a collective of therapists we’ve partnered with for a series this Mental Health Awareness Month. They work with loneliness, social anxiety, and the particular weight of building a life somewhere new or stepping into a new stage of it. First call is free. If something has helped you feel less alone, share it in the comments. Someone here might need it today. #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #conversations #bluetokainofilter
Meet our debut release from Viishalakshi Farmer Producer Company (FPC) in Araku Valley. Named after the valley’s wide-eyed goddess, Viishalakshi brings together 33 coffee-growing villages. The farmers here have always used natural practices. To nourish the soil, they rely on organic fertilisers like Jeevamrut and composted fruit waste. Focusing on specialty practices, growers are now pairing their knowledge of the land with BRIX-guided selective picking, pruning techniques, and careful processing. This special lot comes from seven of the collective’s most-promising villages where women lead cultivation. Co-processed at a shared facility using the honey sun dried method, it brews clean, balanced cups.
